Adding Advertisements
Adding advertisements is a simple process in Media Factory. By default the ad boxes are red with company written inside.
Adding Graphics Using Media Factory
- In the Navigation bar, select Applications>Assets.
- On the Asset Manager page, upload the graphic.
Note: The dimensions for a side ad are 300x250px. The dimensions for the top ad bar are 728x90px.
- Click Upload.
Note: Organizing files by folder makes them easier to find when more graphics are added.
- Copy the Absolute URL .
- In the Navigation bar, select Applications>Applications.
- On the Applications page, select an application.
- Under Sections, click Application templates.
- Under Subtemplates, click sub_ad.
Replace the source for the image
- Adding the top ad: Replace the image source for <fm:Case value=”leader”>
- Adding the side ad: Replace the image source for <fm:Case value=”bigbox”>.
